ehotel® becomes carbon neutral
Our sustainability management extends to all areas. From green electricity suppliers to providing regional water in glass bottles for employees: we look for climate-neutral suppliers. We use eco-friendly tickets for public transport for our employees, travel as climate-neutrally as possible, use energy-efficient appliances and LEDs, and heat our buildings and avoid waste in a conscious manner. With many small steps, ehotel® is well on its way to becoming CO2-neutral. The GreenSign Office certification addresses precisely this issue and offers an ideal, transparent and efficient solution as well as guidelines for the creation and further development of a sustainability strategy. The certificate is awarded by InfraCert – Institute for Sustainable Development, which has established itself as one of the leading sustainability certifiers with GreenSign for hotels since 2015. ehotel® has successfully completed GreenSign Office certification and achieved GreenSign Level 3.

Sustainable bookings for customers
The filter function of our meta-search technology highlights green hotels. The search takes into account the most renowned sustainability certificates and greatly simplifies environmentally conscious travel – without additional costs or time expenditure. Customers can also view the CO2 values of their preferred hotels in the ehotel® Analytics data collection and take them into account when making their booking decision.
Sustainable hotels: Book with eHotel® environmental protection
The trend towards eco-friendly travel is growing. With new filter functions, ehotel® helps companies find green-certified hotels for business trips, conferences and meetings, thereby reducing their carbon footprint. In addition to internal company guidelines, the innovative meta-search technology displays the most important sustainability certificates for hotels – including GreenSign, Green Globe, Green Key, TourCert, Travelife, EarthCheck, EU Ecolabel and EMAS from the European Union, as well as the ISO 14001 standard.

At ehotel®, we use Ecosia as our search engine. The concept is simple and compelling: every search finances the planting of trees. Ecosia itself is also CO2-neutral and uses 100% renewable energy.

Who are ehotel's customers?
Most ehotel customers are frequent business travellers from medium-sized companies, mainly in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Large companies and multinational corporations are also part of our company's long-standing customer base. Private individuals can also book hotel rooms for city breaks or short holidays on our publicly accessible websites and through our cooperation with renowned price comparison sites, websites and affiliate partners. We also market the ehotel hotel programme through travel agency partners and the online booking systems of Atlatos, Bahn OBT, Cytric, Onesto and VICTOR.
How much does it cost to list on ehotel?
A standard entry on www.ehotel.de is free of charge. Additional services such as the setup service, use of the channel manager or a direct interface to the PMS are charged separately. ehotel® charges a commission for bookings made through its platform.
How long is the term of the framework agreement?
Your hotel listing will be activated upon receipt of the agreement. The term of the agreement is one calendar year. If the framework agreement is not terminated within three months prior to the end of the contract (31 December), the agreement will be extended for another year.
How long does it take from registration to listing on ehotel?
New registrations are processed daily. You will receive your login details and instructions by email. Now enter your details in the ehotel® Suite and put your hotel online. As soon as we have received your signed framework agreement, we will check your entries and activate your hotel immediately. If any details are missing or incomplete, our hotel support team will contact you. Activation will take place once all relevant data has been entered.
Procurement and verification of all hotel invoices by ehotel®
Yes, there is ample parking directly on site so that you and your guests can arrive comfortably.
How does the direct booking link for my website work?
The ehotel Suite provides you with a direct booking link completely free of charge. You can embed this link on your own hotel website. Descriptions, availability and prices are taken from the data entered in the ehotel® Suite. Use of the booking link is free of charge for you. No commission is charged for bookings made via this link.
How does the Channel Manager work?
Update multiple sales channels, including leading hotel portals, quickly and effectively via a centralised access point. This saves you time, prevents overbooking situations and ensures rate parity across portals. Connection to your hotel PMS is also possible. Prices and availability are taken directly from this system.
How much is the commission?

How will my hotel be presented on ehotel AG's websites?
You have the option of providing a detailed hotel description. You can easily maintain your hotel's amenities in a separate menu. Enter the room description and amenities for each room category separately. You can upload up to 25 images for your hotel and display a maximum of 5 images per category.
